XYZ High Precision Mobile Platform

XYZ high-precision mobile platform, also known as three-dimensional high-precision mobile platform, is a platform that can achieve accurate movement in X, Y and Z directions. XYZ platform mainly includes X axis moving part, Y axis moving part and Z axis moving part. The coupling of each shaft can be used to connect the servo motor for automatic adjustment, or it can be directly connected with the rotary disc for manual adjustment.

The X, Y, Z direction components of the three coordinate precision mobile platform have the same structure, including their respective transmission systems, guidance systems, drive systems, digital displacement measurement systems based on capacitive grid sensors and corresponding support components.


The following scheme is adopted for the structural arrangement of the platform in X, Y and Z directions, namely, the bottom plate in X direction is fixed on the base, the bottom plate in Y direction is fixed on the moving carriage in X direction, and the bottom plate in Z direction is fixed with the carriage in Y direction through angle iron. The measuring probe can be installed on the 2-direction carriage through the bracket, and the probe can move in the Z-direction through the up and down movement of the Z-direction carriage. The whole Z-direction component is installed on the Y-direction carriage, so the Y-direction carriage can realize the Y-direction movement of the probe. Similarly, the platform can also realize the X direction movement of the probe.


Considering that the micro fluid measurement mobile platform must be able to realize the self-locking of the X, Y, Z direction transmission, especially the Z direction transmission, and that the mobile platform is not used very frequently, as well as cost factors, the transmission system of the three coordinate precision mobile platform uses a sliding screw pair to achieve transmission. The sliding screw pair has simple structure, low cost, no lubrication system and self-locking performance. 10. In the Y and Z direction of the spiral transmission, the X direction of the spiral transmission requires the largest force. Through the calculation of the conductive force during the transmission of the mobile platform, the X direction uses M10 sliding screw pairs to achieve transmission, so as to meet the axial and radial stiffness during the spiral transmission. Considering the convenience and cost of manufacturing and processing, sliding screw pairs are used for the spiral transmission dimensions of X, Y and Z directions.


By using the edge finder and XYZ platform to measure and adjust the coaxiality, the coaxiality between the electric spindle and the dynamometer can reach within 0.02mm, meeting the coaxiality requirements for the normal operation of the coupling, electric spindle and dynamometer.


In the actual measurement process, the influence of the gravity of the dial indicator on the coaxiality measurement result is well avoided, so that the measured value can reflect the true coaxiality of the electric spindle and the dynamometer. With the help of the third-party benchmark - XYZ platform, it is very easy to avoid the situation that the magnetic base of the dial indicator is difficult to be stably adsorbed on the reference axis due to the small diameter ratio, many shaft steps and short shaft steps of the measured axis and the reference axis. Due to the large effective stroke of each axis of XYZ platform, the digital three-dimensional workpiece edge finder has high measurement accuracy and display accuracy. This coaxiality measurement and adjustment method can well measure the included angle between the electric spindle and the dynamometer output shaft axis, making the coaxiality adjustment simple.


The disadvantage of this coaxiality measurement method: In the actual measurement process, with the help of a third-party benchmark, the accuracy of the XYZ platform affects the coaxial measurement results to a large extent, so the high-precision XYZ platform should be selected.
